When to go
Our recommended months
Tsavo East experiences a hot, dry climate typical of semi-arid regions. Temperatures range from 20-30°C during dry seasons (June-September and December-March) and 22-34°C during wet seasons. The long rains (April-June) and short rains (October-December) transform the landscape, attracting migratory species and supporting breeding cycles.
