Nyerere National Park, formerly the northern part of Selous Game Reserve, is Africa's largest national park and one of the world's largest protected areas. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers pristine wilderness with diverse landscapes including rivers, lakes, wetlands, and miombo woodland. The park is famous for its boat safaris along the Rufiji River and walking safaris, providing intimate wildlife encounters in an untouched environment.
