When to go
Our recommended months
Kruger experiences a subtropical climate with wet summers (October-March) averaging 16-35°C and dry winters (April-September) with temperatures 6-26°C. The dry season offers optimal game viewing with minimal rainfall and moderate temperatures. Summer rains support lush vegetation and active bird life, though some roads may become challenging.
